About IPFN

Building trust and provenance for the open Internet.

Create. Certify. Connect.

Our Mission

The International Pinned File Number (IPFN) is an open, transparent system for digital authorship verification. It provides a decentralized, immutable record of provenance for digital works, ensuring authenticity and trust in the digital realm.

We believe in an open Internet where creators are empowered with tools to prove authorship, protect their work, and connect with trusted communities.

How IPFN Works

1

Upload Your Work

Submit your digital file for certification through our secure platform.

2

Cryptographic Fingerprinting

We compute a SHA-256 hash of your exact file, creating a unique fingerprint.

3

IPFS Pinning

Metadata is pinned to IPFS, creating a permanent, decentralized record with a Content ID (CID).

4

You receive a unique International Pinned File Number that serves as permanent proof of authorship.
